When digital competence is mentioned, most people probably think of using a computer, chatting, or perhaps working magic with functions in excel. That's not entirely a bad direction, but it doesn't come close to covering everything we call digital competence.
Generation Z will cause whole industries and businesses to rise and fall. Yet few industries or organisations appear to be ready for them.
The topic of relationships is present in all of our lives: either because we have or because we do not have a relationship. You have probably experienced that both being in a relationship and living as a single person come with uncertainty, doubts and questions. Maybe these few thoughts will help you to take a step back and look at the topic of relationships in a different way. Just like studying, work, self-care or other areas of your life, connection is also a learning process. What does it take to learn something new? Practice, experience and mistakes. So, it is natural that you do not know everything.
Stresses cannot be avoided because they are part of our lives. If we wanted to avoid distress (i.e. the harmful effects of stress), we should not go to work, expose ourselves to challenges and should rarely meet our family members. It is not worth fighting against them, but recognizing their enormous energy, we must create positive forces from negative ones, as well as learn how to survive even the most difficult life situations and conflicts without injury. Along this learning-regeneration process the capacity of flexible resistance, resilience is strengthened.
I’m sure you have used the expression „I’m having a stressful time”, „I’m so stressed” etc. in your life. Today this word has become a bit of a cliché, and we often do not even know what it really means. Not to mention that it clearly has a negative meaning.
